Pako Kids Magazine
Pako Kids Magazine / Windhoek
"Pako" is a pioneering educational initiative dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature and animals among children in Namibia, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. Through the distribution of educational magazines tailored to young minds, Pako endeavors to inspire curiosity, awareness, and a sense of stewardship towards the environment and its inhabitants.

With a focus on accessibility and inclusivity, Pako aims to reach children who may not have easy access to educational resources, thereby bridging educational gaps and empowering them with knowledge about the natural world. By providing engaging content that blends scientific information with captivating storytelling and vibrant visuals, Pako creates an enriching learning experience that ignites a lifelong passion for nature and wildlife conservation.
Through its efforts, Pako not only seeks to educate but also to instill a sense of responsibility towards preserving the biodiversity of Namibia's unique ecosystems. By nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious citizens, Pako aims to contribute to the sustainable future of both the country and the planet as a whole.

Have a Heart Namibia / Namibia
Pako has teamed up with Have a Heart!

Have a Heart offers free spay and neuter services, vaccinations, parasite control and basic medical care for dogs and cats to support low and no income families in municipal townships and informal settlements throughout Namibia by empowering them to take responsible decisions for their pets.

Why is this needed?
Dogs and cats are important for their owners, regardless of their income. Offering free, sustainable and humane dog and cat population management and basic medical care in poor areas increases responsible pet ownership, empowers low and no-income owners to make responsible decisions for their pets, and teaches children to be kind. This is critical for a better future for all of us.
Have a Heart's work is motivated by the health and welfare of dogs, cats, Namibia's wildlife, nature, and humans
